It was built by Sharshah Suri in his lifetime in 1545. This grave is an excellent example of India-Islamic architecture in India. This mausoleum is built between the architectural splendid and an artificial lake, due to being an excellent example of architecture, the United Nations placed this tomb in the list of world heritage in 1998. This Tomb is located in the middle of 1130 feet long and 865 feet wide pond. The Octagonal Tomb is made of sandstone and brick on the stone floor of the sand in the middle of the pond. Its circular stupa is 250 feet wide and 150 feet high. Its dome height is also ten feet more than the Taj Mahal.
