Historical town, situated about 40 kilometers from Agra, which was built by Mughal emperor Akbar. Emperor Akbar wanted that Fatehpur Sikri should be called the capital of Agra, therefore Akbar decided to make Sikri his capital and for this purpose he also built a fort here and in 1573, he traveled to conquer Gujarat. did. While returning after conquering Gujarat, he named Sikri the name 'Fatehpur' (Vijay Nagri). Since then this place is called Fatehpur Sikri.
It is believed that the family of Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chishti was here only. Thousands of tourists visit the Dewan-i-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas and the wonderful ancient architecture of Pachisi Darbar. Their beauty reflects the mastery and skill of the craftsmen of those days.
